Atelier Bontekoe Van Put is a collaboration between Jaap Bontekoe and Jonas Van Put. After our postgraduate studies in furniture design in 2014 we started working together on various assignments alongside our individual projects. In 2019, we officially founded our company, focusing on design and metal constructions. Over the years, we moved studios within Antwerp five times, each space becoming our second home. Many late nights were spent welding and sanding, ensuring our creations met clients expectations. With hundreds of scale models and sketches, we crafted numerous concepts and objects, made possible by enthusiastic interns, vibrant collaborations, and supportive clients.

At the end of 2023, we decided to close Atelier Bontekoe Van Put to pursue our individual design practices. Jaap and Jonas will continue to share their workspace at Atelier Overdruk and the tools they have accumulated, and they keep producing some of the products.
